From Vancouver International Airport, fly direct by Central Mountain Air from the domestic terminal to Campbell River Airport. Flights operate up to 5 times a day.  Fares vary according to flight time.

Alternatively,
Pacific Coastal Airlines fly to Campbell River from YVR South Terminal. To reach the south terminal, take the free shuttle bus from outside the main terminal building. Pacific Coastal Air also offers up to 5 departures a day.

Campbell River Airport is about 11km from the Quadra Island ferry terminal. Taxis are available from the airport.

From Vancouver International Airport, take the Canada Line to Waterfront station. Typical journey time is 26 minutes.  Leave the station by the Canada Place exit and walk to the floatplane terminal at the Westin Bayshore Hotel, Yacht charters dock at 1601 Bayshore Drive, Coal Harbour, Vancouver. Allow about 15 minutes for this walk. Corilair flies daily (mid afternoon) to Campbell River from here.

A two-zone ticket ($3.75 adult; $2.50 concession) is valid for 90 minutes and covers the journey to Waterfront. Passengers boarding at YVR-Airport Station on the Canada Line are required to pay a supplement fare of $5, making the cost of a two-zone ticket $8.75. Alternatively, for just an extra $0.25, a
Day Pass ($9 adult; $7 concession) provides all-day travel on Canada Line, SkyTrain, SeaBus and all bus routes. Day Passes are not available from the ticket machines at YVR station. They can be purchased from either Pharmasave or the 7-eleven convenience store, both located on the first floor of the domestic terminal (before security) No supplement applies if you purchase a Day Pass at YVR.

Corilair's Campbell River terminal is about 3kms from the Quadra Island ferry terminal. Flights also call at Cortes Island if requested at time of booking.

On your return to Vancouver, tickets to YVR can be purchased at the Canada Line station ($3.75 adult; $2.50 concession). Cash, Debit and Credit Cards are accepted.

Island Link Bus provides connections between YVR and Campbell River each day. Schedules vary according to the time of year. 

From Vancouver International Airport, take the
Canada Line to Olympic Village. Typical journey time is 24 minutes. The Island Link Bus departs from the station exit (street level) for Horseshoe Bay, where you will transfer to BC Ferries for the 1 hour 40 minute journey to Nanaimo (Departure Bay). On arrival at Departure Bay, the Island Link Bus picks up just outside the terminal building for the onward journey to the Tyee Plaza in Campbell River, close to the Quadra Island ferry. Check the Island Link Bus website for times and fares - you can save at least $5 by booking on line.

Greyhound Canada  operates a through coach service between downtown Vancouver and Nanaimo via the Horseshoe Bay ferry. Greyhound Coaches depart from Pacific Central Station, adjacent to Main Street/Science World SkyTrain station at 07.30 and 11.30 daily for Nanaimo, with connections to Campbell River.

Greyhound coaches from Vancouver terminate at the Nanaimo Bus Terminal (behind the Howard Johnson hotel) from where connecting services depart to Campbell River (close to the Quadra Island ferry).
